The person killed at a metro station early Sunday morning in Copenhagen is probably the suspect of two shootings occurred in the Danish capital on Saturday, which killed two civilians and injured five policemen, said local police authority.
"We need to clarify whether our hypothesis holds," said Police Inspector George Forest, noting that video surveillance indicates that it was the same person who committed both crimes.
The first attack occurred Saturday afternoon during a debate event at the cultural center Krudttoenden, where a man was killed and three police officer were wounded.
The second shooting took place late Saturday night near Copenhagen's Norreport Station, where a young jew was shot dead in the head and two police officers were shot in the arm and leg.
